About Ownkeep
Ownkeep is for smaller UK landlords who manage their own lets. One workspace for the portfolio, a record on each property, and an inbox to file what comes in. Easy to use, and you stay in control.
Who it is for
You run the lets yourself. Certificates, bills, photos, and tenancy papers end up in chat, in folders, and on a spreadsheet, so the record you manage is split across all three.
Ownkeep is for that setup. A small number of properties is the right size, including one or two. If you are the person who manages the let and keeps the record, this is for you.
What Ownkeep is
Landlord management software. A private workspace for the properties you let. Open a property and its data, certificates, files, and history are the record you work from. Everything that should be stored lives there.
Unsorted files land in one inbox. When AI filing is on, a clear document is filed to the right property and type. Otherwise you file it yourself. Anything unclear stays in Needs review until you choose.
A certificate keeps its dates and the PDF. A bill can sit as a row for that year, with the file kept on the property. A tenancy paper stays with that tenancy. A repair is one of those records, such as an invoice, a photo, or a case. It is not a separate messaging product, and tenants do not need a ticket portal.
In England, the private rented sector database (“Register your rental property”) starts a regional rollout from 15 December 2026, with all actively let properties expected on it by 14 November 2027. The record you manage is how you stay ready. Ownkeep does not replace the government register, and it is not legal advice.
What Ownkeep is not
- Software that runs the tenancy without the landlord.
- Unsupervised AI in charge. AI help is optional. Turn it off and manage manually. Nothing is sent unless you approve it.
- A replacement for the government PRS / “Register your rental property” database.
- A compliance guarantee, legal advice, or a substitute for your solicitor.
- A tenant app people have to install.
- A file dump, or repairs-only software. You manage each let from the property record. A repair may show up as a bill, a photo, or a case on that record.
